[University of Exeter - Paris-Saclay studentships (Double PhD Degrees)]: I am looking for candidates for this PhD studentship (international students are eligible). The project title is Multimodal Robot Perception withPersonality-Based Models of Human Decision Making for Efficient Anticipation inPedestrian-Centric Applications. Prof. Andrew Howes, our Head of Department, will be the co-supervisor at Exeter. Dr. Céline Clavel and Prof. Nicolas Sabouret will be the supervisor at the Université Paris-Saclay. The successful candidate will spend at least one year at the Université Paris-Saclay. Applications must be submitted on the Paris-Saclay ADUM portal. [University of Exeter PhD Scholarships for Black British Researchers]: This programme offers 4-year fully-funded PhD studentships to support Black British researchers. The application for the 2025/26 academic year is now closed.
[Commonwealth PhD Scholarships]: Commonwealth PhD Scholarships are for applicants from least developed countries and vulnerable states, as classified by the OECD Development Assistance Committee (DAC), in the Commonwealth, for full-time doctoral study at a UK university. The application for the 2026/27 academic year is now closed.
Entry requirements
You should have obtained, or be about to obtain, a First or Upper Second Class UK Honours degree, or the equivalent qualifications gained outside the UK, in an appropriate area of science, engineering or technology. Applicants with a Lower Second Class degree will be considered if they also have Masters degree or have significant relevant non-academic experience.
